Here is the Video of the install:
Step by Step information how to install EPS (Electronic Power Steering) on your Yamaha Sidewinder 2017-current that don't originally have EPS.
There are 2 PDF's (PNG) shown, one is the info needed for you to build your own harness and the other is a the final parts lists needed with Yamaha part numbers and Cat part numbers for ordering all show at retail pricing. Most dealers and websites will give 10-15% off. If anyone is interested in my harness for quick plug and play installation or for me to do the installation for you please message me. Remember installing these in a timely matter is all based on availability of parts.
Update 11/5/24: After further review on our new 2025 EPS Sidewinder, you could reduce the size if the main harness wire to 12ga for main power and ground as well as change the trigger power wire to 18GA. I have updated the attachments.

Now if only there was a way to retrofit Apex/Vector power steering motors. I have a pile of them sitting around.

I have never seen one, what do they look like. As simple as the EPS is, I am sure that it can be done as long as their is room. Now if only there was a way to retrofit Apex/Vector power steering motors. I have a pile of them sitting around.

Nicely done Tom. Pretty much exactly how my install went. I did not move the plate for the brains on the right side though.

Great!! I was worried about wires rubbing. Could always just zip tie a hose on that bracket edge too.Nicely done Tom. Pretty much exactly how my install went. I did not move the plate for the brains on the right side though.
