Yes you're right, it's not really a switch at all. When tested with a multimeter, both switch and wire tested fine. The funny thing is, It seems like the problem shows itself only when the sled comes up to temp. So a few minutes down the trail once heat gets through the...
Hello everyone!, I've been a member for many years, but haven't ridden the sled in a few years. I have since come back to the sport and started riding my Phazer again, I missed this thing! I am the original owner from 2007!
Anyway, a few weeks back I got the dreaded fault code 88 which...
I am not exactly sure, I think i got it in the 2009 catalogue. I believe it is the Yamaha race replica in black, which I don't think they offer this year. Its like this one only black and white haha. : http://www.yamaha-motor.ca/apparel/appa ... ubgroup=16
Two rides this year in Newfoundland... Sucks. We had to drive four hours to get anything worth riding on. We found a little bowl and had a little fun at least:
Fingers crossed for a good season next year!
cannondale it happened to. It cracked right up the middle of his and split right open from the photo i remember seeing. I find it weird that this is after happening more than once now..?
Yeah, its pretty much the same deal here in Newfoundland. If there are semi- low kms, they want upwards of 6500 for an 08 fx model. Ridiculous compared to the states.
I usually take a shovel to scoup the snow away from the front end so that it isn't trying to plow the snow. Then i lift the back end to a new line, sit on and pin the gas!
I agree with people above. This sled is a rider active sled at higher speeds, or in more complex trails. This sled really is like no other you will ever ride, handling wise. I think a clutch kit, and an upgraded get of skis would make this a pretty nice sled for your wife. At least this way, you...
Glad your son is ok!, this happened to me also except I hooked into a piece of rebar sticking out from concrete. I went flying over the bars, and had to limp my way home... not fun stuff, but a part of the game. I definitely grew more cautious of what is underneath the snow! Tell your son not to...
Just thought id let you guys know that I am back on the snow! Just finished everything up this morning!. I fully disassembled the sled with the help of a friend, replaced my bent up front end parts, changed the oil, coolant and put it all back together! It took a few weeks with work and school...
haha I hope so. I was around 5'8" when I first got the sled so all was good, and I just broke the 6' mark at 6'1" , So I hope this will keep my back level while standing.
Direct bolt on , just route the throttle cable under the bar instead of over, where its at now.
Edit: Oh and i'm assuming soul bought your riser? If not ill take it. If its gone, i'm going to order myself a red 2.5" Lakeeffect riser tomorrow haha, they look awesome. I hope its tall enough.
I got the red ones like those, from my local dealer. I need to replace all the clamps on them though because most of them busted up from ice getting in and such.
