The 08 phazer has electronic fuel injection, it does not have a choke. I suggest that you have a look around these forums to read up on the specs of your new machine.

Constant starting and stopping isn't always great. Also these machines need time before you hit the throttle. Let it warm up for five mins or so. Like stated above, a possible plug problem also. I would get it serviced before the season begins.

Hey man, there aren't many things you can do without affecting throttle response it just makes sense that it will change. You could get cold air pods, a clutch kit or an exhaust to help you out. You're riding an 80hp machine, so it is what it is. I wouldn't be worried with your top end around...
