never again. same issues here. they would not return e-mails, could not call them etc etc.
eventually they gave me some excuse of being busy & e-mail problems.
no way. never again !
wheel kit blew apart at low miles, just wanted replacement parts.
bought more stuff & they never shipped ...
stater relay. had same problem. they say they can get moisture then occasionally fail at low temp ? i replaced mine & all is good. if you hear fuel pump click.... it is not the fuel relay then.
tttario is correct. my mistake. after i went through the issues it was determined that if the fuel pump relay was working (click) then it is the starter relay by the battery. i also carry one as a spare but it is not a trailside change ! did not mean to mislead !
i have had exact same thing. even had the machine warm. stop for 2 hrs go out to start & nothing. from all the research i did it is the relay. i keep a spare onboard. have never had to change it though. if i cycle key back & forth or wait a few minutes. it goes. little scary. i have only had it...
had mine hardened up. took to an upholstery place that does bike seats. they cut some phoam out from bottom & replace with more dense. seat is same shape can not tell. it is way more firm. low cost, about $65
sell with studs. i pulled my studs when i changed tracks. i had 3-4 calls when i tried to sell the ripjunk... did not sell because everybody wanted track with studs. although i saved alot by not buying new studs.
was looking for alternatives. i have broken those clips in the cold before. or they slip. some guys have come up with some pretty sturdy mounting ideas that are also quick & easey.
thanks
can anyone post some pictures of saddle bags mounted ? looking for some better ideas then the stock plastic clips & rivets they give you.
i have seen some guys using bolts & circle pins to fasten stuff firmly. trying to mount yamaha 1 pc soft saddle bags on an 07 attak.
thanks
i never expected more top end, just wanted to post the info so guys know what they end up with. i also forgot to mention i added whal bros extroverts at the same time as track change. no more racheting, run it loose as a want pretty much.
same problem here. happened when i installed rox riser. i finally got it to stop but it would still happen intermittantly. you can re route the cable, there is some adjustment of the cable at motor bracket also. to be safe i just bought the cable for the "mountain" apex. it is a few inches...
yep, i have used frank the last few years. great job, quick turn around & he spends the time to talk to you. made a huge diffrence on the ride of my attak.
my attak would occasionally have a rattle/vibration. sometimes some exhaust up through the bars othertimes fine. turned out 2 flares on the flex pipes were cracked. maybe something to check closely ?
anybody advise location they mounted thier ice sratchers. the coiled spring type that mount to bottom of running boards & fold up into clip.
reason i ask is the instructions show them being mounted far forward. this means bolts would be impossible to get to under the angled foot rest. it would...
