Thanks Dan, I like the looks of that. I dont like copying people but I think I am going to go that route. You are using all 3 protectors I assume then with this set up?
From what I am reading if you stud in middle just dont use middle protector and you will be fine? I never studded a sled before I want to try and save some money my dealer wants 1100.00 to do it. I was going to use the woodys gold diggers per their recommendations on there site with there 129...
Limiter is all the way out loose. Torsion springs was at 2 went down to 1 with no change so went back to 2 for my rider weight. With gear i am around 225. Rear center shock is about half way. I will be adjusting it after I try out the new pilot skis I just put on. Front ski shocks tension is all...
I cant get jack for ski lift on my 129. I have the blocks shaved down to the point where If I remove the blocks and just have the rod I am not gaining much more. All I want is enough lift if I need it for going over a bad spot where you want the skis up to not hook anything.
. 21121Ok guys took my dalton black orange out you can see what I mean by rubbing in picture. 1500 miles on stocker and no rubs like this. Also I noticed on the one end of spring right before correct me if I am wrong the tang ( clutch newbie) there is a almost kink in the coil its not perfectly...
Mine were Definately warmer at 6-1 with the dalton black orange than stock spring at 3-3. But still could hold hand on them. Seemed to have alot more belt dust as well.
Hope your trip works out Dan. I think I will be going to 3-3 as well. Still confused as why the Dalton Black orange has the rub marks and my stocker didnt. Almost makes me think the Dalton diameter is bigger or maybe I got a defective spring.
Whats your take on the yamaha blue brown blue. Engagement is closer to the sidewinder stock spring but just slightly higher finish than with the blue white blue.
I seem to have a lot more belt dust with the dalton black orange secondary spring at 6-1 I also noticed the paint rubbing off on one of the coils on the side of it after 300 miles with it. I did not have this with the stocker. My stocker has no rub or wear marks on it at all Any thoughts on why...
I have 6 inch shapers and the cheap stock 4 inch yet on stock skis. I will be throwing the tuners in the trash. I thought I would give them a try first
