SamRX1... as ashamed as I am to admit it... I'm canadian and didn't understand a word of that... lol. other than Avec... and devorer i think speaks for itself.
Sorry to bring this thread back to life... but I feel it needs some attention.
Quote from a very knowledgeable drag racer over on the 2 stroke side.
Gearing and clutching go hand in hand, changing the one affects the other. When you go to a lower numeric ratio you are keeping the belt...
Ya go figure lol another thing that's there only when you don't need it. lol that's a good story though..
PS i think you mean skidder rut ;)!
I would put one on anyway... i think they look cool, add a custom look with a few other small add-ons
So... i don't quite understand this. smaller rollers make the weights act as if they were heavier, therefore lowering engagement and shift RPM.
What does a smaller roller yield as opposed to adding weight to the primary? How do they differ if they are essentially doing the same thing? I...
How can they make a track a whole inch short??? i could understand up to 1/8" difference for a mass producing company. Maybe they should start paying closer attention to detail?
I agree with the bastard lol. Comparing the ripsaw to the 9818 is like night and day. Ripsaw is ok on hardpack... that's it. I don't know why all the manufacturers chose to go to the ripsaw pattern, not trying to say it a bad track... it is good, but it's not all it's worked up to be. If you...
There is a lot of discussion about which skid to go with. M-10, Expert, or Mono. Do a search, there really is no way to tell which is the best, it depends completely on riding style.
I have my m-10 and love it, still haven't dialed in yet but all the bumps that you used to feel, are gone...
I personally would like to know how these look on a sled. Don't mean to take over the thread but I think PolarisConvert would like to know too. Anyone have any pictures of these 9"er's? and how about speed increase... did it help? Thanks and again i don't want to take over your thread PC
Hi. I'm fairly new to the 4 stroke forum and cannot find anything on clutching an RX Warrior with OEM Yamaha weights and springs... though I know there are some who favor it (I managed to find that lol).
Anyway if there is anybody that knows where to direct me on this forum or just give info...
What rpms are you pulling? If your rpms are lower than before check your airbox is properly on the carbs. I didn't beleive that when the carb boots to the air box came off that I lost 1000 rpm and about 30 km/h
Well you guys were definately right. Amazing how something as small as an airbox can bring rpms down by 1000. Now i just have to fix the windsheild lol. Thanks
Carbs are clean, not a spec of dirt in them, blew them out anyway. Plugs look o.k. The airbox was however wrong on all 4 carbs, only covering about half of the bell and definately not sealing to the box. Would this cause the rpms to drop that much?
Thanks. I was thinking it was something fuel related, just was not too keen on pulling everything apart lol. I can get a little lazy. It runs fine everywhere but full throttle, sometimes if the angle drastically changes (mostly when the nose goes down hill) it will stall right out, but start...
I just recently had my Dad's '04 Warrior rolled in some deep snow when we were riding some deep drifted hills. Ever since it has only hit about 9000 rpm at WOT and sometimes will bog if you snap the throttle open, TORS is not causing the bog i guarantee you. Anybody have any ideas?
I...
Sorry, haven't tried one yet, but the next track I would buy would probably be the Ice Ripper. It's a great trail runner track and once you get on the ice it should be pretty good too. Keep in mind it won't be as aggressive as studding a track yourself with the conventional studs, but I think...
