I will check tank vent. seems like many are reporting issues much like mine but mine is always remedied by getting gas. and it starts at about 1/4 tank strange??? Others don't seem to be fuel level related.
So this has been going on for as long as I have had this sled. 2017 ltx le. when I get down on fuel but not even to the point that the low fuel light comes on. ( not sure this sled has a low fuel light as I have never got that low) the sled starts surging on a steady throttle when going slow and...
if it wires into the sensors on the rail you have to disconnect them and start the sled for codes to clear then shut down and reconnect it and it may then work.
low oil sensor will not throw a code it can be unplugged the whole life of the machine and you would never know it. it makes contact when oil is low so unless the connection is made in the dipstick for low oil the sensor wont trip a light. is there any sign of moisture in the oil? have you tried...
is there a power commander or anything like it on the sled?
when I had the Supercharger on mine I got code 20 and had to disconnect it to reset the code.
I have put the cat skis on with aggressive snow trackers I now love the handling on this sled. steering effort went way down and it is on rails. reminds me of my 07 apex with snow trackers minus the inside ski lift. not as easy as power steering on my 12 apex with snow trackers but defiantly...
I talked to local dealer he said he runs a 1.5" pre-stud track on his winder with no protection and has not had so much as a nick in his heat exchanger in 2 seasons. So I feel I will be okay. I would just throw them in but I have no intentions at this time to run conventional studs so I would...
Do I need to install the tunnel protection on my heat exchanger with the I-grip screw in stud tips? Or will they be okay. I would like to think there is enough clearance from the heat exchanger to the track considering they are just the tip on top of the lugs. anyone running these without the...
yes correct sorry 1/4 turn I have seen a shaft sheered from to tight of a chain. my cousin decided to adjust his own (not a mech at all) just snugged it up tight and rode it 200 miles later jack shaft gear sheared right off.
when you put a riser on you have to relocate the throttle cable under the bars to have enough length. this is with a 2.5 riser any longer you may need a longer cable.
I have found that you should never leave one stock and one after market in fact you should not mix match them at all they all seem to have different heat output. I have changed out just one on my apex and it was so much hotter than stock it was burning that hand and the other was still cold...
