    Apex, Mach Z1000 F1000

Agree with Turk. Haven't seen a Mach that didn't have it's clutch on 6 and had equal traction get beat by an Apex/Attak. Buddies Mach gets 18mpg's riding touring style. Still has to put oil in the damn thing though=)

    AmsOil Vs. Yamalube

0-20 I don't know if I would run 0-20. Us Amsoil dealers got a memo a few years ago when they introduced the the new oil as an alternative selection for Honda and Ford's requirement. These oils were needed to meet the demands of the tighter clearances of a few models that were engineered to...

Do our sleds have too aggressive of a timing curve? Is that why the colder plug makes more power?

how do you make decals stick to plastic side panels

You can also take a butane torch, after cleaning the surface, and run it over the spot. this will take the oxygen away from the surface for up to an hour, which promotes adhesion. I learned this trick in I-CAR class when painting plastics. Works like a charm!

    AmsOil Vs. Yamalube

Well, I think it probably is coincidence. I have three customers that use 20-50 in their Harleys, one, a 124" S&S motor, and he beats the TAR out of it, with no problems. One Gentleman with the stock Hog noticed a 10 degree drop in his oil temp from Castrol non-syntheic, and 5 degrees from...

    AmsOil Vs. Yamalube

Not to be a whiner, but I wonder which oil from Amsoi they are using? Only thing I have to say about that sheet. I don't know much about Motul engine oil, but I DO know they make the best brake fluid, by far. Derek

    AmsOil Vs. Yamalube

I agree with your points, no, we don't get sponsored, so we have to buy our oil(dangit...). I think Mobil probably pays the Oem's to advertise that their oil comes in their engines. Maybe not, though....... I think the lower viscosity help our cold weather sarting, that's all.

    Apex Skis

Just bought 7.5 Shapers. I had them on my MXZ witht the old flex-ski. Darting was eliminated becasue the Shaper cut a new path. Handling was also better, they really cut well. Bad thing is, they do hang down a bit lower so on marginal snow conditions they can get get beat up pretty bad.

    AmsOil Vs. Yamalube

Amsoil the Holy Grail of oil???? I wore my fingers out explaining how I felt ANY synthetic oil is better than crude-based. Thanks for the temps, RuppRider. The reason Amsoil was comparing against Yamalube, with the dry ice, is because it is truly business. Yamalube is a good, well...

    AmsOil Vs. Yamalube

It's suggestive really. I ran my machine after buying it new for 200 miles, changed the filter, and changed the filter and oil at 500 with Yamalube. I bought the thing late in the season, and didn't think I would get as many miles as I did, so I didn't put Amsoil in it. I ended the season...

    AmsOil Vs. Yamalube

My brother-in-law runs the Dominator oil in his 250YZ @ 95:1.0 with CAM2 Racing Fuel. His bike is a 1998 and hasn't scored a piston yet. I had a few friends switch to Klotz from Amsoil, cuz "they liked the smell".....duh.........great reason :drink: :ORC
