I'm planning on putting a set of blue C/A XTX skis on my 2015 blue/orange Viper LTX LE with the 1.75" track. The XTX ski being 7" wide should provide good flotation for offtrail and it also has enough keel profile for aggressive on trail handling. The blue of the C/A skis has always matched...
May want take a look at my post in the following topic containing some useful info on the Tuners skis.

Currently there is alot of confusion out there on the Tuner skis - Here's the best info I currently have and some day when I have full confidence in all the info on these I will try to do an updated post.
The 2013/2014 FX Nytro models and the US and Canada accessory divisions have been...
Dave - u should have saved that hour of looking and just stopped in at the store! Lol We stock and recommend using the wheel in the link below to replace the original wheels. These are the same wheels yamaha uses stock on the 2010 and up sleds - they have a replaceable bearing and are more...
Try using the stock wheel in that location which is the same diameter as the one you are using but has a wider bearing (6205) which will help take the load there better. It looks to me like someone has been installing the black spoked accessory wheel in that location which has a narrower...
Difference is in the ecu programming - the 2010 and up vector, 2011 and up apex, 2012 and up nytro sleds all received bigger stators and different ecu programming which puts roughly 10 volts to the grips at idle and gets full voltage to them as the rpm rises compared to the previous model years...
Mark - the lower ball joints are intended to be installed with the 3 marks facing down towards the snap ring. Im not sure what can happen when installed the other way (which sounds like how you currently have them) but you may find out...u always wanted to be a durability test rider right? Lol
It is a 2ply track. All 2009-2013 nytro xtxs with the 1.25" lug ripsaw track have a 2ply track. That track is a 2.52" pitch and is 144" long.
The only trail sleds yamaha has produced with a single ply track are the 2012-2013 nytro rtx and the 2013-2014 std. nytro which both used a 2.86"...
After modifying the rail we generally just take a dremel tool to the rail end cap before reinstalling it and take material away from the slide area side of the rail end cap so that stock slides will just bolt up without needing to cut them every time you replace them.
Yeah there is a tricky part with just checking the voltage as I have seen there be voltage present at some points of the fuel system at times but yet things dont work as the corrosion prevents enough amperage flow to make things work...corrosion can be a tricky little bugger at times.... :o|
The 10 amp fuse on the starter relay is what supplies power to the fuel injection system/fuel pump relay - if your starter relay was corroded on the outside it is most likely corroded on the inside as well and is preventing adequate power from getting to the fuel pump relay which is the relay on...
The aluminum bracket yamaha put on the 09 and newer nytros solves the problem and will fit on your 08. If you bought the sled used make sure it doesn't already have one as alot of people updated their 08s.
The first batch of the yamaha version of that bag should be available by the end of this month - we have a bunch on backorder - give us a call if you need one and dont forget at this point you will also need the hardware to mount it (hoping at some point yamaha offers this as accessory with...
The stock style rear bag that comes on the base model will be an option and should be available in about a month as we currently have some on backorder. The bag and the hardware to mount it retails for roughly $100. I believe it will be the most factory/cleanest looking option out there but...
The new relay will be interchangeable with the load and fan relays however have you ever heard of one of those sticking when cold? I haven't - for some odd reason those circuits dont tend to have the relay stick when cold... the only reasoning ive ever been able to grasp with this is that when...
If you've had issues with the fuel injection relay sticking when extremely cold out (below zero) or would like to prevent it on any fuel injected sled Yamaha has made from 2006-2013 (Phazer, Nytro, Apex, Vector, Venture GT/TF) the new solid state fuel injection relay would be the best way to...
