I think the '07 is carburated. Not sure what year they went to fuel injection but I wouldn't buy anything that isn't fuel injected.

The thing I like best about linq is it quick releases in a second so you take into a motel easily

Good luck with getting them to weld the tensioner screws. Mine dealer wouldn’t do that. I heard somewhere that Yamaha actually has a new tensioner and that Thunder Products also has one. Have not confirmed that. Since the dealer replaced my shaft and bearings I’ll run without welded screws until...

Pretty much ditto what geez177 says. Aside from driveshaft issue it’s been all good. Never blew a belt that goes for me and two other buds. I agree with Joe also...it’s all how you ride it.

Sure does but wrench is much easier and doesn’t bung up the nuts. Wrench is also convient to carry in tunnel bag

Agree. I just got mine back last Saturday with new shaft and bearings etc. You would think Yamaha would step up and address this issue with the number of failures occurring on $15,000 sleds. I'm interested to see where we are in two/three years with the folks that dimpled the shaft and used...
