8500km 1 month before the warranty finish. Got a shaft bearing and front skid shock replaced under warranty.

My dealer said it would be covered under warranty on my 17 SW with 9500kms. I decided to do it myself as I had the sled apart already and don't trust anyone.

So did they get you a new shaft assembly then?? You just installed it..

No. I called when I had sled apart brake off and chaincase open and found the worn shaft. He said I would have to re-assemble sled and bring to them to repair. I opted to purchase new axle and bearing in the US and assemble myself.

Complete assembly. I had to bring the sled at the dealer. they changed the part and new oil in chaincase. But I went over everything and added bop part.

Edit: sorry I thought you asked me the question

With one month left on the standard warranty, my dealer got me a new drive axle assembly and bearing. I wanted to do labor myself and that was no problem.
I almost felt bad because I didn't even buy this particular sled from him,(it was a holdover from a different dealer). However I have bought several new cats from him over the years and I think that helped.

After finding out there were TY members getting warrantied , I asked my dealer for the same .
Apparently the axle and the shaft were warrantied , the labor for just the axle ended up at $550 !
Also had the reverse actuator ,top gear and bearing warrantied , as that is what I took it in for in the first place.
And another $350 labor for the look over to replace all 6 bogie wheels, sliders , and replace the track with a used take off.
I only have 2 weeks left on my extended warranty , so I better trade up.
If I didn't ask, I wouldn't of gotten it warrantied .
Thanks TY !!!!!!

Mine was fully warranties. The shaft assembly, both bearings, caliper and rotor and pads. Didn’t pay a dime for labor
