Haha, small world. I have the blue Nytro, sonds. Bought it from you in Minnesota a couple years back. Going to be running it this weekend up in the U.P. I've added a water temp gauge, rear tunnel bracing, and fixed that oil leak (stator cover gasket took care of it). Sled still runs great.
I'd really like to hear from anyone that is running a studded ripsaw II 1.5. This is what I'm leaning toward after running the ice cobra. It's a good track but I would like more traction. I have the ice build up depending on condition but I take care of it and haven't torn any lugs on my ice...
I'm running it at 50 degrees with heavy hitters and Hurricane's 270 race tune. Over 1000 miles on ultimax belt. I ran with the holeshot helix at first but after some people were saying you shouldn't run that with the race tune, I switched back to the stock helix. I didn't have problems though...
Good choice bearhead. I know it's a tough pill to swallow being the OEM is hundreds more than Chinese wannabe stators but for some critical parts OEM is way to go.

I strongly recommend using an OEM stator from Yamaha. Replacing it is a fairly involved job and a huge hassle and extra expense to do multiple times, even if you do it yourself as you will be changing some oil and stator cover gasket each time. I used an RM stator and it lasted around 100...
Do not use rm stator.....Should use the OEM stator from yamaha. My rm stator lasted about 100 miles before shorting itself out leaving me stranded and I had to go the OEM route then anyway. Those rm stators are Chinese made junk.

Yup, duece bars work great on the pilots. So do snowtrackers. Make sure you check your toe out and if you need a 1/4 or 3/8 shim under your rubbers as these will both contribute to darting as well.

I blew a belt on my turbo nytro this past weekend, sent a chunk clear through the aluminum plate here right into my shin.... This was the only damage. Threw a new belt on, bent the sharp edges on this hole back that looked like it was hit with a grenade launcher and good to go. Belts blowing can...
I'm running Dave's 240 hp race flash right now. I have the orange spring at 60* with thunder products primary and heavy hitter weights loaded up. I'm using the XS belt, TPI rollers, and TPI 33/35 helix. I have this on the LTX LE with a 1.6 ice cobra and 22T top gear. No full throttle runs but...
I am running the 240 until the knock light comes out. Gas is always a concern up in the U. P. So would sure like that safeguard in place.

I agree. This has been talked about since the early fall. Season is already 1/3 over. Doesn't do any good if the release finally happens in March!

I am also interested in any type of fix. Yesterday morning my fuel pump relay was frozen up, sled wouldn't start until I pulled it and heated it up. (I had error code sd-43 ) Felt great to have happen on my very expensive sled when my buddies '06 ski-poo fired right up. Anyone know if a...
