An ounce of prevention. Especially when things get turned up.....

For the most part, I took it off and pounded her flat where it took a big hit at 120+It's doing it's job then. Has it held it's form after the hits?

Where abouts? Mine did not hurt a thing...it slapped across that front small piece alot, saving that plastic. Typically top and bottom dont get pounded but the ends do(front top and rear bottom) as that is where the belts whip off their arc.For the most part, I took it off and pounded her flat where it took a big hit at 120+

Seems like odd place to take a whack.....but when a belt blows it becomes a projectile, likely never the same from one to the next....I just hope its a rare occurrence.Yup bent downward, woulda been a huge hole there had I not installed the protector.

I blew a belt on my turbo nytro this past weekend, sent a chunk clear through the aluminum plate here right into my shin.... This was the only damage. Threw a new belt on, bent the sharp edges on this hole back that looked like it was hit with a grenade launcher and good to go. Belts blowing can be really dangerous. This is the only time I've ever seen anything like this.

I needed a pliers and other tools to bend the pieces back in a bit , it isn't very thin aluminum!

For those that have my belly pan protectors that sustained a hit I'd like some pictures. I've yet to blow a belt on mine and would like to be able to monitor how the guards are holding up to different blows.
