Ok thanks I'll be calling my dealer tomorrow to see if I need to visit a cat dealer. Pretty sad if I wanted to go to a cat dealer I'd a bought a cat. But kinda nice to have more options. Wish I would of thought of this. Thanks.
any body else having trouble getting parts for there vipers. Mine is a 14 ltx, first I blew jack shaft bearing. Got bearings and shaft but seal and c-clip back ordered. No big deal got parts another place and riding again. But last Tuesday February 16 I blew a front shock in rear suspension...
I ride with 2 1200 s all the time I have the deluxe model.we switch often I like my sled everything is working well. I am going to have to get some bigger springs, regretting not getting the floats. But I sure like the seat on the doo that's a nice seat.
Mine did come out of gear once at around 80 mph. I put another 750 miles on and never came out of gear again. It's at the dealers now the update parts came in and are being installed today. I will be backing it in for our trip but I will be checking it every morning.
well oïl seems to be good. There is no click or r or beeping.like there is no power heading to servo.i appreciate the responses must be isolated issue. leaving for a week long trip hope we have no issues.
wondering if anybody else is having this issue. When i start my viper in the morning and its cold out, my reverse wont work. i need to drive about 10 miles before it will start to work. This is the 2nd time it has happened, good thing i can drive out the other end of car port
I no they measure bore and stroke on the engine. Can't be over 600 cc 2 stroke. I know viper is in that class not sure how that translates. Ant thing else goes.
I thought u guys were talking about the long cranking when warm. Now I no what your talking about thought I was towing it home yesterday. Ended up with codes p 1338 and p1339. Where did my nytro wiring go. Never had a issue with it.
I just sold my nytro xox. If it's the same engine I expected at least the same results. It would run 95 mph in any conditions, then on hard pack would run 104. I did and would like to at leAst seen the same results. Being blown away by my buddies on there 1200 dodos not so much fun.
I was wondering if the 4th wheel kit would help top speed. Seems like when I turn at all the track cuts in and fills the rear skid with snow and then I feel a drag. So I was thinking with the 4 the wheel if that sorta works as a blocker to keep the rear skid from loading with snow. Just a thought.
I was riding a 09 doo 1200 demo and it came out of gear. They had a recall if I remember it was a spring either had to much tension or not enough. What a racket it made at 75 mph. 700 miles on mine so far so good.
I did this a couple of weeks ago, rode the sled for roughly 200 miles had lots of opportunity for wot. When i opened the cover still roughly 3/4 of marker left on the primary. Rpm is hitting 8900 so not sure what the fix is. Took it to the dealer and showed him and he is going to look into it.
