some guys have put a 1.5" lug track and cleared the tunnel protectors or rubbed slightly. anything after that you have to remove your tunnel protectors and heat exchanger protectors. 1.75 will definitely fit if you do that but then its not recommended to run studs as there is zero protection...
Handlebar Setups
Check out that thread and you can see my setup with the pro tapers. just measure your bars and look at pro tapers website and find the height that matches what you need. really easy swap to do and they are wider and have a much better feel. the polaris hooks can be ordered...
i've read this thread start to finish and after watching that video i'm wondering what exhaust you used. i can't remember what you used and don't have time to go through the thread right now but that exhaust note is pretty sweet.
if you run that track you will have to remove your tunnel protectors and heat exchanger protectors if it isn't already done. i've seen guys run that intense with and without the protectors so it could be done. look under your sled at the heat exchanger and see if there is two aluminum square...
i've done some searching and found mostly talk about aftermarket drivers and couldn't find anything about oem ones. lately i've been ratcheting in the deep stuff and started looking into extroverts and then found that some nytros came with gear drivers and some didn't. after doing some...
those 3 codes are for cylinder ignition coil faulty cylinder 1 (33) 2 (34) 3 (35). Take all the connections apart and make sure they are dry. its pretty tight to get in there. the only other thing i see in the manual is to check spark plug gap and coil resistance but that can't be done on the...
if your on a budget you can re use the oem grips. i replaced my bars with pro tapers and used the stockers. if you do it, drill out the two rivets on each grip, use a razor blade and start at the hook and slowly peel the grip back making sure not to cut into the heater. then use the blade to...
I've been searching for some answers to the OEM ski problem that the pre-tuner nytros have always had. I ran one year completely stock and dealt with the push and dart that everyone is familiar with. This year I needed to replace the stock carbides and starting looking at options. I plan on...
i went a different route than you did. i got some 7/8's pipe from a local place for like $3 and cut it just wide enough to stick out 3/4" past the oem mounting location. then i bought fly risers which are two seperate risers for about $70. then i clamped them to the lower pipe and to my...
sometimes when i have a lot of snow/ice around the lever i find it really hard to pull it upwards that little bit to unlatch it. i've used the strap of my glove to pull on it as its a bit awkward. never had it freeze completely.
i'm going to be doing this last year. i've done all the calculations and you come up with 135 inches in theory with a 136 track. i've seen it done many times so i know it works but i don't have extros so i'm wondering if i need to switch if the track is on the loose side. let me know how...
Other than a skid swap from mtx or an aftermarket ski, there are rail extensions. Tracks USA has two options for the 144, either 151 or 159 depending what you want. the also have complete packages with tracks, rails and tunnel extensions. Here are the rail extensions...
Tracks USA
double check that the jam nut hasnt come loose on the throttle cable at the throttle body. this will cause free movement of the elbow on the cable and cause the same issue. you can see if from the clutch side of the sled.
i have a 2012 with ripsaw and non tuner skis and my buddy has a 2013 with ripsaw 2 and tuner skies and we both run 2 studs per window in a repeating v pattern and his handles way better with stock carbide configuration. it still pushes a tiny bit but is very predictable and way less twitchy...
guys are going to chirp you for not searching but i'm going to post the thread for you...
these are for 5.9 i'm assuming as you won't see many guys compare an off trail ski to a purely on trail ski
split rail skis versus turner versus pilots
i used a razor blade starting from the hook to cut the grip away from the heater. once you get it started it comes off pretty easily. then i used the razor blade to cut the foam padding away from the stock bars under the heater and was able to get them off successfully. i used electrical tape...
