It takes longer than you would think. Read the directions, check out pics online, read the directions again. MPI does a great job of instructions and lots of good info on here. Take your time with the install and have fun doing it!!!!
I ran a 2" finger on a crossfire and I loved it. It grabbed anything it could but like stated it wasn't a powder track. I was looking for a finger track but settled on a 2" challenger for my xtx. If you ride trails and some off trail I think you'll really like it.
What's everyone running for xtx gearing on a nytro MPI supercharger at sea level? I have stock gearing now and am installing 2" challenger track as most of my riding is off trail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I will be running my xtx with high elevation pulleys and decided on the reflash ecu/gems from MPI. This allows me to run 8lbs boost low elevation and still be safe on pump gas. Give Matt a call and he will hook you up. Good luck!!
I'm looking at installing a 150" track in my nytro xtx. I have access to 3" pitch drivers but want to know what I would have to do to my suspension/ wheels to accommodate the extra length. Is this possible to run offset axle and larger 9-10" rear wheels? Anyone that can help with insight I...
I just put LCC boards on my nytro and really like the looks and they seem super strong. And the color combinations are super cool! Troy is great to deal with as well...
Ok thanks. Oil hasn't been changed since last year and it hasn't been tipped on its side but the sled does have a rollover valve. Thanks for the tips guys. I will be tearing into it on Monday.
Brought my sled in the garage and overnight there was a small puddle of motor oil on the battery side. It doesn't look like its coming from the chaincase rather than the bottom of the pan. Any direction? Thoughts? I haven't taken it apart yet but am hoping that it's something minor...thanks in...
I have the MTX skis with the bergstrom triple carbides and it really performs well. I have owned C&A's and powder pros in the past on previous sleds and liked the powder pros the best. Seems to me the design on the MTX ski is based on the powder pro. I also run my front end light as I can. The...
That really depends on the shock type, rider style and mileage on the shocks. Most say between 1500-2000 miles in between rebuilds with any of the good OEM shocks. Some aftermarket shocks are pushing the 2500+ mile mark. It's relatively cheap to have it done and most shops can set it up for...
Bought the sled last year from a fellow TY'er and can't say enough good things about the sled. It has the 42" skinz front end with exit shocks and man does it handle the bumps and corners well! I found myself being able to push it harder than my previous sleds and always felt in complete...
I had my kids playing around in my garage and left my key on and it drained the original 09 battery. I tried to charge it on 2ah and it wasn't able to pull a charge. I replaced the battery and still nothing. I checked the fuses by the brake rotor and grounded the starter solenoid with a...
Hey guys...been researching 180HP kits and trying to make a decision on which kit to pull the trigger on. I ride primarily in the UP and northern WI so looking for a low elevation kit. Any pros/cons to both? The dealer that I ride near the most is a PUSH dealer and they have had good luck...
