Beaveman,
How much time did it take to dropping/removing the front frame?
I've fought with my skidoo... looks like i've been in a knife fight! Seems like they don't debur anything!
If it helps from getting sliced to-death, I'm in!
Keith
Tbyrd,
I have to check this out but have not worked on a Phazer.
Does the starter have to be taken off the motor to remove the bolts. Or can it be done mounted on the motor.
I asked the dealer to check when he was changing the oil, but they basically said no.....
Thanks

Per a dealer that has contacted Yamaha on Front arm failures:
Yamaha's response:
"#1, Tell the customer to SLOW down. This wil get them thru the season so we can work on a fix.
#2 He mentioned that they have parts that they are sending out to fix these issue as they arise.
Slow down...
I agree totaly.
I put a clutch kit in my 800 Rev. It now does not have any engine braking anymore. I rode yesterday around the field and had to use the brakes more than ever. Boiled the brakes twice.(I bleed and added new Dot 4 fluid)
Quite the feeling to have the lever go to the bar at...
I thought that the rear shock needs more rebound(slower). It kicked a few times in some bumpy areas.
We didn't notice the front skid to bottom.
Maybe once we get some snow, we could tell LOL!!!
No help on finding a good replacement wheel here either...
We dropped off the Fx on the 11th of Dec and still don't have it back from the dealer....Still waiting on a part or two.....
phazerfly: Just trying ti find why we ate our wheels and others have no issues...
What track tensions are you running?
We set to the recommendated(Don't have the #'s in front of me)
Please let us know.
Thanks
Keith
Funny....
My Rev rode the same 150 miles as my brothers Phazer FX.
My wheels and slides are fine. My studs have wear from riding in "rocky" conditions.
The Fx...
Slides are toast.. the rails are not showing, but it's very close.
The #18 wheels are trashed.
The track driver lugs...
The wheels that failed are #18's
Dealer was suppose to call Yamaha rep today...
Sorry, no pics of the sled... we didn't get a chance before taking to the dealer......
Later
Keith
