    I installed a nitrous kit and failed to completly purge the fuel lines, so when i hit the button #1 cyclinder got streight nitro shot and blew out rings and scuffed up cyclinder wall. I have the Ullmer tool and will try it out this weekend, anyone use this tool on a RX-1? rfc

    i had to replace the motor in my 05 warrior last year cause of somthing stupid i did, lets not go there. But since new motor install the sled is eating belts about every 500 miles. So i need help getting engine/clutch alignment right, I would appreciate any help and tips. bueno!

    QUESTION! when you pull out the engine oil drain bolt, why do you get about a quart of oil out of it?? is that oil comming from the filter? not shure cause when you remove the filter it's full of oil too. rfc

    hey PC, those screws are very common,you can get at any ACE hardware, even in allen heads. just pull one off and take it to the store with you. tip: on the sticky ones you should use needle nose vice-grip pliers to first break the screw loose, or an impact screw driver. i got all allen heads...

    hey, i used a heat gun, to warm the rubber ring on the K&N's. when they were soft i pushed em on to rings! no problem. if you don't have a heat gun i'll bet a good hair drier on hi-heat will work. i started the filter pod on the bottom lip of the ring and then the top. rfc

    Ok Citizens, not shure if this right or not but i looked at the rings depth 3/4 of an inch. and made a gauge to set the ring on the carb mouth only at 1/4 inch, leaving 1/2 inch of ring to create the velocity ( stacking). i think if you push the ring all the way till it stops on carb body...

    hey citizens, i installed inline filters after getting poor fuel from delivering yami dealer, pilot jets were PLUGGED. i see no down side , these are from yamaha, they are the ones used on the R1 motorcycle. the intank paper filters don't catch the small stuff. these cost about $10.00 each...

    Head Venting: PCV or no PCV valve?

    hey Jack-Shaft, happy new year! here is my set up, i vented the head just in case. there is a inline pcv valve on top of the factory fill plug you can't see it because the rubber hose slipped over both ends all the way. hope this helps. rfc skip
