    About that high altitude boost...........

Stingray ... my Nytro with MCX runs at 17 lbs. at 11.8k and I've seen it go up to 19 - TCup, CW Pass, etc. I was told it would go up to keep the 17, but not sure how far. Our new '15 Viper MTX with the same 270 kit showed 17 but it's only been riden once here in CO. Derek

    vent kit recommendations needed

LCC vent kit made by R&M ... had an R&M hood on my RX-1 for years and it took a ton of abuse and always bent back into shape and the material/frame is tough. Same materials for their vent kits - as far as I know LCC is the only place to get them.

Phazer Mountain is really tippy! Need suspension advice!

We have 2 new MTX's in the fleet and last weekend we were testing set-ups. The "stable sled" has the widest ski setting and the shocks cranked up a bit from soft. The "boondocker" is middle width and softest setting. Both riders are 130 lbs. and have stock ski's. Both do turn over really...

    EZ RYDE skid 162

Running an '06 Apex S/C 1 with EZ and CE 162x2.5" and the HiPer fax are great - had them on for years. No issues. Not thrilled with the EZ - but it eats big bumps/moguls very well.

    Which guages you guys running?

PLX DM-100 Touch - had the older singular AFR guage "PLX" for about 7 years and it held up perfect. This 1 guage does AFR, Boost/Vac and 2 coolant temperatures - and it's so small and the touch screen is great, easy to see in the day/night - MANY view options and pretty affordable. I...

New to superchargers. Picked up a Apex MTX with a MPI kit

We've run several at 10 psi riding from 10k to 14k feet with no issues; some with a head shim and pump gas and some just all stock motors. For us, you do have to keep the GEMS handy as you will need to tweak it. We also add 1-2 gallons of race on occasion in the stockers if you're running hard...

    Relocating Gauge on Nytro?

Bought a new plate to mount the gauge to the handlebar base - but the wiring harness is about 8" too short, even with cutting it open about 4". Is there an extension kit - how are people moving these to the handlebars? Derek

    GEMS??????

We've had 1 Apex that had a ground issue - just problematic. I would possibly move or make a new ground and see if that helps; it did for us. Derek

    Best Wideband for Snowmobile Applications

I've used the PLX AFR guage for maybe 5 years and only had to replace the sensor once due to the wires being cut on the heat shield. Have PLX on my SVT Cobra also! FJO on an Apex S/C kit for 4 years with no issues either ... bullet proof.

    MPI Apex battery charging?

Use the factory wires to aid in jumping points if needed and also install a charger terimal - we use solar chargers in the trailer and plug them all in, no more dead or low batteries.

    stage one supercharger prefilter

Clean the pre-filter material with Super Clean or other good degreaser and then use a water proof spray; works great. Some snow will stick but comes off easily. We can just flick ours from the riding position and it's clear.

    MPI breather hose

Case Breather Jannetty sells a kit for the RX's - like the guy with the Nytro did, aluminum box, lines, breather - return line. We use the little blue automotive type filters (looks like 2" mini chrome K&N filters) for $10 - then wrap it with a micro fiber cloth cut down. I use to use...

    Heated Carbs.

Shut Off Valve I put in a basic shut off valve, with a mesh hood, some days when it's really deep or -30 below, I will crack the valve open about 1/4 and run it that way. 90% of the time, it's fully off and have had no issues. I have to keep the carb heater off 100% on my Viper or it will...

    Fitch fuel catalyst's

We haven't tried the Fitch "yet" but with our high dry climate, we have to store the sleds wet, they do much better. The Stabil has worked well in my experience.
