C&A pro razers with 6" slim jim doolies was the ticket for me. Easy to turn, good corner bite, and no darting at all. You will loose some top end though but for me the winder has plenty. 4000 miles on this setup and love it!! It just works
Went to start the winder after trailering up north and is sputtered then finally started on what seemed lije 2 cylinders. Idled for a few minutes like that until the 3rd cylinder started firing. Seemed to idle and run normal but did not ride it due to another issue with the steering sticking...
I was riding the other day, I noticed after about 50 miles I has lost one outer wheel somewhere on the trail? The bolt sheared off. It is the JT racing 4th wheel kit. I was able to ride another 400 miles like this as the shaft really cant come out but I was wondering if anyone else has broken a...
I would be careful. Had my dealer do the service and had oil spray out on the trail only to realize they did not take the old gasket off the oil filter. Seal blew out, oil everywhere. Needless to say, not happy. At least I caught it before any engine damage. Just saying, never know how much...
I am running C&A Pro Razor's with slim jim doolies and absolutely love them so far. Light steering with zero darting and no uneasiness that the tuners gave me in corners. This thing rails the corners!
We have about 8" right now in Grand Rapids. Went out on a trail last night but there were some trees down so I had to turn around. Could only go about 5 miles or so.
Well fellas, I just got back from another quick rip. We got some warm weather today and the snow was set up hard in the field. I was able to get good traction for the first time. Guys, this thing fly's!! I can't believe how hard it pulls. It makes you say HOLLY SH#%#&^T wether you want to or...
Ya, the cobra does feel good in the powder for traction, I like it. I am excited to get this one on a groomed trail. I do feel like the tuner skis will push in any loose snow though. I do have C&A skis with slimjim doolys ready to go on just in case I don't like them.
Got a chance to ride the ltx this past weekend. We got around 20" of snow! First off I love the riding position as it seems to fit me well, very comfortable. The engine is very quit no doubt but maybe too quit. We will see, I may like that on the trails. I came from a Polaris rush 800 proR. The...
Got out today for a 20 mile ditch run. Sled ran very well. Very smooth power but hard to tell how much power it has as mostly running in 20" of powder. I have the ltx with a 1.6 ice cobra. Sled feels very planted like it should be a great trail sled no doubt. Man, she is very quit for sure. I...
Ya, I am just wondering if the ones sold in years past "not on sale" had the NTN bearings. That would explain the price difference. Like I said this does seem like a great kit and have no doubt it will be great but I think I am going to buy NTN's and put them in.
I just bought the stealth 4th wheel kit from JT Racing. I am impressed with the quality of the components except for the fact that the outer wheels came with CHINA bearings instead of the NTN's like the inner wheels? I have had these crappy bearings in many of my sled over the years and all I...
