yes it's normal

if it's the gems controller with the latest ver.13 it is very sensitive to altitude change.change alt mode to a lower # like 2/3/4.

rxrider i'm running vp c 111 which is leaded.rode a all last year on pump gas and not a prob.this year 3 days with 50/50 mix and it's toast. THANKS anybody try the ntk sensors?on fjo's web site it tells u that the bocsh sensor is not for use with leaded fuel.not much point in buying a bosch...

where can i get one in canada?or one that will stand up to race fuel.mine craped out after 2 days running 50/50 mix.

i had a prob similar to that and it was my throttle body boots.they had came off where they connect to the engine but not all the way off didn't notice it.it started fine ran pretty good then shut down.tried to fire it back up and all in would do is sputter for a bit then nothing. i have a bov now.

i'll take her out for a good run tomorrow hopefully.off topic but how do u stop the s/c oil from comming out the vent tube.is there a checkvalve that u can get or something.

thanks guys for the info.i have a autometer boost/vac gauge,it along with the bov is plumbed into the engine side of the throttle body plates.i show a little vac at idle but when i thouch the throttle slighty the needle on the boost gauge will move towards the boost side briefly then back down...
