    Viper to nytro

I ran about 6 pounds of boost. Nothing wild. Regular 91 non ethanol pump gas. 8 mpg is all you should expect. The blower is running all the time and it takes HP to make HP. I only had it one season. Ran fine other than it always ran HOT. I could never seam to keep temps down. I think it was...

    A little advice needed.

The riding position on all the modern sleds favor an active rider and are comfy, for shorter riders. I agree with Mr Sled, tall guys suffer a little.

OEM Agreement Between Yamaha & Textron

Does Textron build/own Ezgo golf carts? I see some advertising for Ezgo from Country Cat. Maybe Textron wants the dealer nextwork? Yamaha makes golf carts and golf cart motors as well. Food for thought.

    Trimming 3" track to 2.5"

I've seen it done a couple different ways. One is with a heated knife that is specific for the job. The DIY guys just use a sawzall with either a fine blade or knife type blade. Then use two blocks or peice of pipe, in this case 2.5" tall/round and put one on each side of the paddle to use...

    viper backfire

I always a jump pack to start the sled first thing in the morning, especially when its cold. It turns the motor over a lot quicker. After that cold morning start, things seam fine. Also, try dumping those crap Cat batteries and replace with a good aftermarket.

    2017 Viper Backfire/Popping

That happened to me at the end of the year last year. I have mine turbo'ed and thought maybe it was messing up. Turns out my exhaust header was junk. The exhaust header is made from two halves that are welded together. The seam was completely split. Got a new header (under warranty) and the...

I've met quite a few people now that don't carry insurance on their sleds. Just wondering if that's the norm?

    Viper to nytro

I have both a Turbo Viper and a Supercharged Nytro. Both pull hard but the supercharged Nytro is lights out stronger. It's warp speed on steroids. Turbo Viper gets about 11 mpg and the Supercharged Nytro gets about 8 mpg. As far as handling, its hard so say. My Nytro is a 153 MTX witg race...
