Mountaintech is alive and well. The 41" is a great trail front end. A tad narrower than the 43" kit which helps off trail. Moving the spindles 2" forward makes the big difference along with full adjustability of caster and camber. I have 2 41" kits that I will let go at Spring pricing of 15%...

You do not want to put JRE's lowering spindles on an MTX located in Western Washington. The stock spindles are also not the problem.

The balljoints could be shot at that mileage. I had a Phazer with 432 miles that had ball joints that were totally trashed. It is not worth trying because it won't make much of a difference. What you want is an a arm set up that moves the spindles forward.
