Okay no problem. Id have to sell locally because i dont have a trailor or vehicle that can handle it. Just bought a sports car. Ill start swapping out the parts, clean them up and take a lot of pictures soon. Can i sell the parts here or is that VIP memership also? And theres nothing wrong with...
I know theres a for sale section and im trying to see if its worth me stripping the parts from the sled or to sell them with the sled. I dont want to spend a day or 2to taking sled apart if no one is interested in the parts.
They are for the RS sleds:
Ulmer stage 2 clutch kit
pioneer 13 mm...
Im selling for a bunch of reasons and nothing to do with the sled. I ride wih my exs family so sometimes its hard on me due to a bad break up. I thought my brothers would get into the sport and after several years of me riding and asking if they wanted to go they have no interest. I dont have a...
I have an '07 RS Nytro Er and im the only owner. Sled has 2,000 miles. Never been wrecked or trailerd. Sleds always been kept in a heated garage all year round. Oils been changed yearly using Amsoil full synthetic. Has pioneer stabilzer bar, yamahaheater, Ulmer racing clutch kit and Curve skiis...
Engine breaking is what your feeling. Its normal and does take time to get used to. When your going down a hill keep on the throttle enough to keep the track engaged. This will keep the sled from tail whipping. Also says this in my owners manual. Now im used to the engne breaking i rarely ever...
13 mm stabilizer bar will also help if you feel like your getting a lot of body roll and sled feels tippy. It made a big difference for me but its not really necessary if your happy wih the sled in that aspect. My sled felt tippy so i tried it out and it made a huge difference for me.
My service manual and also how mine came from dealer says limiter strap No 1 hole which is the strap fully out. The shorter the strap the more pressure on skis. Fully out is standard setting.
Ive had to clean my carbs a few times but it wasnt bad. I kniw theres different summer storage theories and preferences but first year i used sea foam and would start sled every month and sping the track fir a minute or two. Winter came sled ran awesome. Following season i did same but i didnt...
Im having the same problem. Normal trail bumbs feel like im hitting a speed bump with a car. It jars me and bigger bumbs i bottom out. Debating if a revalve will help or if its worth looking into a different rear suspention. Im planning on keeping the sled until it dies so trying to get it more...
If the rear shocks are similar my my rs nytro instead of using a spanner wrench lift the rear of sled up so track hangs freely. Clean te shock with wd40, take a flathead scredriver and hammer, gently tap the bottom ring nut in proper direction so it losens. Then you should be able to hand turn...
I love mine. Since I bought a 13 mm pioneer bar and run the front floats so the arms are parallel the tippiness is completely gone. I have 1,500 miles on mine and sliders are fine.
there's actually 2 of them and they're by the front rear shock. they look like leather straps and you'll see the holes where you can tighten or loosen them. I you do change them make sure you do the same to both.
When I bought my RS Nytro there was also an RS Vector there side by side. Luckily I liked the looks of my backdraft Nytro anyway because at the same time a guy came in with his wife and they bought the Vector before I could even talk to a sales rep. The body styles are pretty much the same and I...
The big center one is the Main jet and the smaller one next to it is the pilot jet. You'll have to clean these in all of your carbs. I had to do mine twice this year. First time only one pilot jet was plugged out of all of them. Second time 2 were plugged out of the 3. This was after the sled...
when I bought my first yamaha I bought my leftover 07 Nytro and same time my riding friend bought a leftover 06 Attak which is similar to the apex.
I love my Nytro and by buddy likes his attak but we only ride trails and sometimes he says the sled is to much for where we ride and he wishes he...
I really enjoy my 07 Nytro. Handling could be better but its a great sled for me and I wouldnt trade it in for anything else. I'm keeping this sled until its a colectors item. Had enough power to make me smile and love the torque. I rarily ever max teh speed out due to where I ride which is...
the family and friends that would be riding with me have no riding experience at all snowmobiling and or dirt bikes. they are older prob from teh ages of 22 and up but don't have any experience and I'm looking for a good reliable sled that if I buy new that I may end up riding all the time and...
it should help. Also lower your front shocks so the arms are parallel. These 2 changes will make the sled feel flat and not tippy at all. Then check your carbides and make sure they're not worn down to much. If the sled still pushes you may next want to look into better carbides to dig in for...
