just recieved a set of fox evols for my phazer looking to you guys for a base setting to shorten my learning curve ! two riders 1 is 150lbs and the other 220 lbs. anny help would be great !
looking to transform the phazers ride and handling in a major way ! i have a sc5 rear skid for it and a set of fox floats for out front but was wondering if someone on ty has tried the sway bar from scmidt brothers ? your input would be appreciated !!

this whole process is a lot easier using a dish soap mixtue in a spray bottle !!! spray the rails and the track window and it's easier than your first (you know) !!!!!!!!!!!!!

make sure the oil passages are cleaned thoroughly and the affected main bearing bore is the right size and round !! the main bearings ibelieve come in dfferent sizes od and id so you can match for proper oil clearance !! be thorugh or it will happen again!!!!

try polishing the end of the jackshaft and also make sure you take the bolt out of the linkage pivot so the shift fork can move as far as possible !!

my sled is an 08 ltx gt and with the scrathchers mounted further forward on the skiis it also sprays the heat exchangers. tried and tested in cochrane on those icy late season mornings no temp light no slider over heat.

i installed a set of ice scorchers mounted on the skis !! no more temp light, no more slider wear !! its amazing just don't back up with them down !!

it is a big under taking !! it's a lot bigger task than any two stroke !! its about 5 hr just to re and re the motor and probally about 8 hr on the bench and you might want to add a couple of hours for careful and detail !!! its an off season project but when done its well worth it !!!!!!!

the seal is on the chain side to help prevent larger debris cauased by chain, sprockets and reverse gears from entering the bearing surface area, causing premature failure. be sure to pack this area with high quality lubricant when replacing the bearing as it it takes time for the chain case...
maybe some of you guys should find a dealer that is straight up. there is a spec sheet from yamaha that shows the difference between the 03-04 rings & the 05 and newer. the ring material was changed (no longer chrome) and the ring tension was increased on the compression and oil rings!
