For those of you in the 2 stroke know, figured I'd post here as I'm not registered on the "other side of the fence".
If installing a 4" riser block on the handlebars, will I need cable extensions for the idle/throttle etc?
Is it tough to do?
Thanks in advance.

Brake cable. throttle cable, maybe a choke cable. Some may say otherwise but the TORS tends to kick in if you do not lenghten the cable. Brake is a munt though.

I'd agree that at least the brake and throttle cables need extensions. Put a 2" in my '97 Vmax, looks like thats about max for the stock cables.

The choke cable won't need lengthened, just the trottle and brake cable and maybe the oil pump cable? You may have enough adjustment in the oil pump, but i can't tell you 100%. It's not a lot of work really. Should only take you about an hour to replace the cables or add extensions. Pretty easy to do.
