03 rx 1 major issues

You said muffler was modified, check to make sure part of it inside did not come loose and partially plug exhaust.

Exhaust is not plugged, and as for jets stock is 135 and 25 pilots acording to the dealer today, i pulled the jets off my buddys sled there also the same 25 pilots, i have fixed the problem it was stupid, air box back on and tapped up because it has holes, problem solved, how ever sled dog when i did modifie the air box before he ran shitty and im sure i haft to jet up like u said in your posts on the fourm,

Are we talking about a 03 RX1? If we are, stock is as I said before 135 mains and 17.5 pilot jets not 25 pilots your dealer is wrong. What was the problem we cant help you unless you give us accurate data. Check the stock settings yourself at the top of each page there is a TY Tech link click on it then snowmobile then stock settings.

You don't have to mod the air box. The muffler being gutted is not really changing anything. Well,it is making it loud, but you will not really get any extra out of it. 17.5 is stock for sea level. Enjoy the sled.

if my pilots are 25 should i get stock ones ? it dont seem to run to bad little chokey on mid range but im waiting for my new air box so it can perfectley fit on the carbs without fall off,

Your jets are bigger than mine and I'm running 240 hp
So I would go stock in your case.

I am running the 17.5 stock idle jets on mine with my air box mod with no problems, others are using 20's with my air box mod with good results as well.
