Did you check the wires for a rub through on the harness under the tool box at the front of your sled going over the frame?

It has to be a rub thru as Sled Dog stated... there is a short someplace... start following the harness.

Would suggest un-plugging & plugging back in the ECU, guage cluster etc.
This helps clean the contacts on the connectors.
This happened to someone I was riding with & turned out to be a combination of the frame rub through on a wire at the front of the delta box, & the ECU connector.
Double-check every connection you touched also.
There are also ground blocks that go bad.
Would check all of them.
TORS has already been mentioned.
First rule of Troubleshooting: Check the easy stuff first.
Second rule: Check everything you touched.
Hope this helps!

I think we found the problem it looks like we had a short to ground by the right running board. And a blown 10 amp fuse for the gauge. I am working on patching it all up then we will test it out and let you know.
Thanks for all the help everyone

Ok guys...here's a update! Yesterday I rapped up the shorted out wire, re-ran power for the lights for the temp sensor and some under hood lights that were pourly ran. Turned it over and she fired right up! My plan was to let it run for a good half our or so to see what happens. Well 20 minutes in or so, it dropped from 1800RPM's to 1400RPM's instantly and then within 5 seconds shut off. So I fired it back up and the same as before, just spitter even when I hit the throttle. I did notice the temp gauge got to 230 before it died. What's the max temp it should read? I'm a newby when it comes to sleds and I'm totally lost. Any other advise would be greatly appreciated.

I am pretty sure it is a safety feature (I am pretty sure the RX1 has this as well). At idle the if the sled gets too hot it will shut off. It will not shut off if you are riding and it gets too hot though.

It not a problem... you dont want a sled to sit and idle for 20 min. Go and drive it and make sure its getting cooled and see how it acts.

That sounds like the overheat saftey feature. Some guys would overheat in low snow conditions, and then added a rear cooler. My RX never had that problem, just hop out into the fluff once in a while will keep it cool. Still should check out all the wiring probs of those mentioned. Next some crap will break loose and plug a jet causing nearly the same prob.

We checked all the wire issues mentioned and nothing was found. Except for the one bare spot on a wire on one of the relays. Fixed that yesterday. So for now, ill wait for some snow and take it for a ride and see what happens. Thanks for all your helpfull info guys and ill let you know the outcome.
