note 2 self......don't stand on the left side of a mach at the races :tg:
can u post the link that is on doo-talk?
i don't care what the other guy rides....i just prefer YAMAHA
90% of the guys i ride with ride doos and never seen one blow yet and one just got a summit 1000 with a 162"...don't know why he did that seeing how the biggest climb here is up our old ski-hill which a 136" can get up after a a foot of fresh powder has fallen if he is careful and after a day or 2 a elan can make it

Power-
Discussing real major problems about another manufacture makes us look stupid??

I would have to say all the 06 bashing that no one has ridden makes us look even more stupid!!
A Yamaha site bashing Yamaha products that aren't even out yet.
;)!

A stock RX1 will not beat a dialed in Z?? They won't beat any Z, unless the Z has a major problem, or a fouled plug. Isn't the RX1 in the 600 class, not the 1000. A 142hp sled is going to beat a 170hp sled? Dream on.

When I first saw the Z, I knew they would have problems with that engine. Too much horsepower for a twin. They will not last. Polaris was smarter. I'll be riding with 2 next week, if there's snow in da youpee. I hope my tekvest will stop the shrapnel.

What year did Yamaha recall, and replace all of the performance sleds? It was in the 80's, and I think they were called a vmax. Doo might have to do the same.

Doesn't anyone remember 98...when all the ring gears fell off EVERY yamaha...stuff happens.

Now BRP has lots of other problems too..but who cares.

oh..and every Mach I've seen so far is slower than an SRX...maybe they all aren't tuned...

We own Yamahas why should we give a crap what happens to another sled unless we are trying to build up our egos. A year ago this crap never appeared on this site.

Not everyone owns just a Yamaha. Also a year ago Ski Doo didn't have the 165HP Mach. As competiton enters the market it seems to be the topic of discussion. I'm sure a year ago you seen threads regarding Ski Doo only of a different model.

Jim...I totally agree..go to amsnow and bash!!

Must be lack of snow..there's no "Turk what's the best clutching for a 99 srx" threads and all this negative bs.

GO BREAK SOMETHING!! Then we can help fix it..something useful.

Doc-

Your right we need MORE FREAKIN SNOW!!!! ;)!
Then we can break something. :tg:

Loose Cannon you joined last November so how would you know. Free speech is one thing but pieces of #*$&@ comments etc. belong on Amsnow with the teenie bopper group. If anybody else remebers Trail Conditions.com and what it became you will know what I mean. Tom would never allow that to happen but we do have visitors and would expect us to have as much class as our sleds.

Jim

New Mach Z

Take this for what it's worth.
Some of you people on this site ned to lighten up & grow up.
My daughter just purchased an Acura and ran it 400 hundred miles and the transmiision went south. Didn't critisize the dealer or manufacture, just took it in and they installed a new transmission. Case in point is I'm sure Skidoo will stand up to their problems and rectify them.
It's not as if Yamaha has not had any problems, They have and i have had some took it back had it repaired and moved on.
I'm sure this post will bring another Smart A--- reply

I take alot of pride in owning a Yamaha. They make sure things are put together right. I feel bad for mach owners if this bulliten is accurate. However , If they put a few thousand miles on every prototype these issues would have presented themselves. It sounds to me like BRP rushed to market with this thing. Will they make it good with the customer...I'm sure. But if you ever tried to get Ski-Doo parts from your local dealership like I did, You better have a sense of humer. 4-6 weeks is the line I remember best.
