06 apex MCX boost controller question

wondering if i take off the pcv boost controller and put in a MBC will the mcx efi still function the same?

i had some problems today with boost only coming up to 8lbs. when it should be at 16lbs.

You should be able to switch from the electronic controller to a manual controller with no problem.
