06 Apex RTX vs. F7

The 03 is the one with the chain case and the rest has the diamond drive...Is that the difference

no they were just fast, and every year after they got slower. diamond drive is suuposed to put more power to the track do to eliminating the loss of power through the chaincase.
on another note====
my friend just got a 2008 f-8 sno-pro with 1600miles, it has a cobra track and 144 picks in it. we lined up in a field a few times last we were out. i beat him every time. out of the hole we were just about even, (he kept jumping the gun, ) then i would pull away like nothing. i thought they were supposed to be fast?

03s are fast we did the gps and the 03 had 112 and myn did 110 so im not sure and that was the guy who had it before me got that be he had 75 pounds on me and no mods i changed the whole sled and i cant wait to race the kid around here with it he only has a can and reeds so i think i might take him not to sure yet

03 had chain drive & 10 tooth drivers. With even state of tune an apex will get smoked. with an untuned sled & idiot riding it will be close.

I agree... A stock 03 and against a Tuned Apex and the Apex will beat it, but tuned both equally and the 03 F7 will beat it pretty good, snow or ice...
