06 Nitro ER Seat Install on 05 Mtn Vector

Anyone switch seats yet ? did you trim tank cover or replace it?what would you have to do to replace cover or where exactally would you trim your 55mm. like to know before i get started with mine.

getting ready to make the big cut , 55mm off the bottom over the tank , should fit like a glove, nice seat , looks just like blue one on apex ,nothin better than the factory finish, worth the price,paid the same price as the boss seat , sorry no contest,

What kind of modification did u have do before putting on the 05 seat - just tank cover? Think it will fit 03 rx-1 mountain. Pics. .....!

Hey guys , the nitro seat fits perfict , finished my install on sunday, I cut 3.5 " off the tank cover measuring from bottom center of cover towards gas cap , outter edge of lines ended just before the tabs that go into lower cowling, pretty much a straight line, seat slides under hood for a factory clean fit. nice upgrade.way nicer than boss seat.
