I've got one with y.e.s warranty transferable till 12/10 In case you need to wipe your A$$ on the trail. You ride to hard, never seen that before, nobody covers that, anyway taking offers great for going down hill.

Put insurance on it and set it on fire. My sled has been at the dealers for a week today trying to get Y.E.S. to cover my pivot joint that broke on the weld. Yammi has had the pics for a week know and still wont give a yes or no. I cant wait to get rid of this sled it has been nothing short of a disaster and basically ruined my season. All together 3 weeks down in this horrible season. I didnt have this many problems with my 03 Firecat with 6000 miles on it in 2 seasons.

I've always had the best luck with Yamaha for warranty claims. Don't think that the grass is greener on the other side. It ain't. Lots depends on your relationship with the dealer and whether the dealer is a good or bad.

The reality here is. If no fluke of nature happens that causes these motors to fail like this skid plate rub etc.

It is the best motor in the Biz next to other yam motors for overall durability. If anyone disputes that it shows your lack knowledge. No two stroke can hold a candle to it. And no other manu's four stroke can either. The doo's 1200 is a runner up.

In other words Go back to Green, we won't miss ya.

So, you're saying if a component fails it's because you have a bad dealer?

The reality here is. If no fluke of nature happens that causes these motors to fail like this skid plate rub etc.

This is just a collection of words. Neither string is a sentence.

...If anyone disputes that it shows your lack knowledge.

A reasonable dispute is the equivalent of a lack of knowledge? Given that you've raised a dispute with your statement, does this then demonstrate your lack of knowledge?

No two stroke can hold a candle to it. And no other manu's four stroke can either. The doo's 1200 is a runner up.

Both points here are opinions, perhaps stated as dogmatic rhetoric.

In other words Go back to Green, we won't miss ya.

Making generalized statements on behalf of others, based on your own assumptions, is poor form. I may miss him.

Best motor in the business I do agree. I bought the sled for quality issues I presumed the sled would last awhile but it has fallen apart after 4500 miles. If you were in my or his shoes you would be just as pissed. The dealer tore apart my sled because Yammi gave the OK now I am supposed to pay the dealer because Yammi denied the claim? You didnt need to take apart anything to get a look at what broke. Already have a case with The Better Business Bureau and now will be seeking an attorney. If you dont think I am a loyal Yammi owner you are dead wrong.

Sounds like your dealer has issues! Have you talked to Yami directly? Who is your dealer?

Ive talked to Yammi multiple times. The dealer is M&R in Auburn and they waited for the ok from Yammi before they touched anything. Honestly I wish I could blame the dealer but it really is not their fault

They said it's not covered, unless you have oil service receipts which I had. (I'm sure they sh!t) Then it's abuse unreal it's a rtx not a bravo. Worst handling sled I ever owned till I dumped a ton of cash into it with a 3 year warranty It's worth it. -wrong- I went thru many motors on my other brand but they stood behind their product, never missed a weekend. Yamaha could care less if your season is fu*#ked. I really did like the sled when I got the set-up correct$. Converted 4 doo riders to nytro. Just a warning about the y.e.s -I'm sure you can under stand- We don't have problems (skid plate) sounds like another asian company. I'm Done,

I feel for you 1st Yamaha, I wonder how many more issues will come up as these sleds get older and more miles on them. I'm on last year of YES warranty, they replaced ball joints nothing else required so far, thank god!

Just got back from the boat show, all the yamaha pwc's have large signs stuck on them 5 YEAR WARRANTY thats correct unless you need it. Jap crap

Too bad we have these issues with Yamaha sleds and their warranties. I've owned several new Yamaha street bikes, have an 06 right now.
B.S. like this would be totally, I MEAN TOTALLY unacceptable with their bikes! Having said that just look at problems, Toyota is having now. That's unacceptable! :die
