Looking for little help. See many post back and forth change coolant or leave it. The coolant in my sled looks more like motor oil (its not) and been having issues with it almost over heating.

Looking to see if anyone has good video on how to drain and fill or even photos of best place to drain from. Common theme seems to be to elevate the sled when filling to allow it to burp, but have also seen post making it seem that there is a bleeder valve to do so.

Any help so I don't make a simple thing worse be greatly appreciated.

How many miles on it? There is no videos that I know of on how to drain it. I have drained them and replace engines on them but usually just pull the lowest hose and when filling you just trickly it in. There could be a method in the service manual.

The manual wasn't helpful as far as the "low point" to drain. When filling do like everyone else seems to do and have it tilted upwards? Any suggestions on filling through the radiator or the coolant well?

No need to elevate the Nytro. There is no rear exchangers. And yes you fill though the cap very slow and pay attention to the amount required for the full system. If you drained the entire system.

Dumb question but the cap being the top of the radiator?

Once you feel its full, then fill the overflow bottle to cold mark so if it needs more it will pull it in.

double check the overflow bottle level before your 2nd ride. if it needs some check it again before your next ride.

Thank you. I feel like I will be checking it all season out of fear I screwed something up.

it will be fine. sometimes when riding an air bubble will come out and the coolant level will drop after a flush/fill. just top it off and it should be it for the season. i usually only have to top it off once when i do a drain and fill on all my sleds.
