Hey guys I have a 09 nytro new to me that won’t idle properly? It’s super low like 1100 rpm stumbles off idle kindnof have to milk it or it stalls then once it raises a bit it drives fine. Bought the sled this way. I have swapped throttle bodies, injectors, fuel pumps, ecu, tps is 16 96, I just got done doing a head shim and installing a turbo was hoping maybe something with that would help it but no change and timing is bang on and valve lash checked.cylinder was checked for flatness as well. new plugs. Did a compression test after head shim 125 each cylinder cold motor. any help would be great. When it stalls it’s also hard to restart and it start low 800-900 and kind of catches to 11-1200rpm. Adjusted co either way with no real change.

There are some early threads about low / rough idling. I noticed mine was sensitive to throttle application at start up when I got it. I don't touch it when above 10 F, just let her do her thing and warm up. Rpm does jump around a little 1200-1600. When cold like last weekend -20 F, I do have to hold a little throttle on while she warms up to keep it above 2200 until red light goes out and engine is warm. If you let it go below 2100 can stall and then starts hard, almost like flooded... Not sure if this is an ECU issue or programming by Yamaha, seems like missing some sensor input to maintain rpm. I do know if cold and you let her stall it is nerve wracked to get going again, like you have to over work the starter. Now I know to manage the throttle a little, starts right up, no issues. After 4 min, I can let go of throttle and she idles 1300-1500 but still jumps around a little. Check out those old threads, might help too.

Your idle is much better then mine. 1000-12000 no matter how long you oetnit idle. Major stumble offnidle and if you look st the throttle the wrong way it stalls. Once you rev it up it sounds great it’s juat idle is terrible. It stalls alot. I’ve changed whole
Fuel system including tank and pumps. Throttle bodies with all sensors, removed head, checked for flatness, changed plugs, swapped coils. I’m going to throw this pile off a bridge

Sounds like an air leak or air pressure sensor issue.

Temp sensor. 8FP-85886-00-00
I thought there was a pressure sensor too. But can't find it in the parts fiche. There are codes 13 and 14 that refer to a pressure sensor.

I checked in diagnostics and intake air temp seems to show proper temp

Do you have access to another ECU? Still sounds like it's starving for fuel at idle.....

The only accessory harness I can think of (pre-turbo) is a yamaheater harness. Since the ecu controls the hand warmers, you might try unplugging it. Do you have a fuel controller?

I do have a power commander v but it is wired to just control my secondary injectors and primary fueling is ecu controlled like stock. It’s not even hooked up at the moment either.

Well it seems that you have done logical things to find the issue. Since you have swapped the throttle bodies and injectors without a change it would seem to point to something like a vacuum line that wasn't changed. I know you tried the brake cleaner test.... you could try starting fluid or propane. I really think its just something simple.
