DOES ANYONE KNOW IF YOU CAN RUN 2-100 WATT LITES IN THE NEW ATTAK/APEX SLEDS?? WITHOUT ANY ADVERSE MELTING -RUNNING PROBLEMS .

considering all the posts about cold handwarmers i dont think there is any extra juice for them. there were some posts about the rx1 missfiring and not running properly with high wattage lites. there are other lites that are brighter but use the same watts as stock, its your call.

I just put a set of Brite-Lites on my Rage. I have only had it out once since I installed them. They are extremly bright, I love them. I emailed Keith at Bluhm Enterprises and asked him the same question. He assured me that they would be ok in my sled. He said that they had both Yamaha and Polaris do extensive testing with them. He said that they are a factory accessory for Polaris. Not sure if you can beleive all of that or not, I am sure he was trying to sell his product.
You could use Silverstars as well, which are the same wattage bulb. Not sure what they look like, but I am sure they are better than the factory bulb.
As grader said though, it is your call.

Well i installed them on my 03 RX-1 and i blew the fuse... I then got LED taillights from Royal and ever since, no issues... If you are going to install these i recommend installing LED taillights... They are brighter and draw much less ampherage than the stock bulb ones.

Withthe Siverstars you don't need to put some ridiculous wattage bulbs in your sleds.
