12 apex xtx is home!

Here is the full edit. I pointed the camera down a bit to get a better view of the snow depth. Wow, what a day!!

So it's that time of year for the Rip-N-Burn party at the Cleem cave. Jordan and I decide to ride from Dilworth down to Little Cormorant.

I thought this was the best time to mount the Apex Mountain skis on the XTX. What a great choice. The trail tank can now plow through just about anything. We found groomed ditches with 3-5" of fresh on top of them. Flat and fast all the way down.

The lakes had waist deep bays, and the local fields had chest deep snow in some places. I was able to pull a few circles around my stuck buddies. Before I finally stuffed the Apex trying to pack snow. Great times.

I also had the chance to test ride a new SkiDoo G4 Freeride 850 137" It's the baby of the crossover sleds, but it was a blast. Those skis kept wanting to head towards 12 o'clock. Good times in Central Minnesota

Dude, I am so glad you talked me into putting the mountain skis on. I am not taking them off, and going to move my woodys dooleys over next. We did 150 miles Saturday, and they were a bit darty on hard pack. But I have single carbides and had not done an alignment since install. (I thought the skis were temps)

But every time we hit the deep stuff, or ride a slushy lake, I come out looking like a backcountry pro. My buddies shocks are full of ice and slush and my sled is clean. Last night we were surfing a weedline on the edge of a field. The powder was 3-4' deep and I was leaving others behind trying to dig out. SO MUCH FUN!
