I have an '05 RX1- and wish to hook up 12 volt accessory adapter (for my GPS)-
Where should I wire it in? I already have my Turbo (fuel pump relay) and guages and boost controller running off of the BROWN wire coming off the ignition.
Is there a good (or better) place to wire it into?
Thanks!

Put a 5 amp fuse inline and run it off the battery jump start terminals. Thats where I have the cig. lighter plug and my heated visor.

I wired my accessories directly to the wires coming into the fuse block located on the right side of the sled right above the chaincase. Solid red wire is always hot, The solid blue wire is controlled by the key. You remove the fuses to reveal the female spade socket. There's a little tab inside that you must pry sideways to release the spade socket and wiring from the housing. Once the spade socket is out you can easily solder your wires to the socket. This way you don't have to strip any insulation. Shove the socket back into place, it just snaps in. Replace fuses and you're read to go. Use the appropriate size fuse in an inline holder.
Hope this makes sense, it's really quite easy to do.

if you run into problems with engine not running well on start up you'll know you have your accessories wired up wrong, unplug heated visor and engine runs better for an example, the engine needs a lot of power to run at start up and the accessories will take enough power to make the engine sound like it has major problems, you should run all accessories thru the relayed acc. wire,if you notice that even your headlights wont turn on for a few seconds on those really cold mornings its because they are relayed and the engine takes all the electrical power til it can run good enough to turn on everything else....hope this helps

170plus, which relayed accessory wire are you talking about? Is it the ingnition relay on the right footwell? and you want to tap that after the ing switch for "on" with the key?
