15000 Grand

I think Volkswagon and Buggati totally missed it with the Veron. I mean who in their right mind would make a car with 1001 hp, 4 turbos and filled with carbon fiber that will only go 12 minutes wide open on a tank of gas. To top it off, there is no way I can afford the 1.2 million dollar base model. How dare they even dream up a car like that?
Come on guys, you want to have a sled that is mostly perfect, you're going to have to pay for it. Can't afford it, buy something you can but don't knock the new sled you haven't even driven yet because it's out of your price range. It's like ripping on the Veyron saying it's crap because there's no cup holder. Until I can come up with a spare million and a half, I guess I'll drive a Jetta.

Volkswagon and Buggati lose money on every one of these that is sold to boot. But I don't think this is a valid comparison. If Yamaha had some sled that lets says had 300 hp and weighed 500lbs built of carbon fiber that cost $150,000.00, that would be a valid comparison, and I wouldn't have a problem with it, cause the point of super cars is not to make money, it's to sell more cars. It's a terrific advertisement for Volkswagon, cause it REALLY says, "Hey, look at this ridiculous piece of tech; buy our Jetta." And their losses are cheaper than some huge advertising campaign. They wouldn't, however, sell more cars if their Jetta went from say $25,000 to $30,000 in one year. I like the new sled, but I think the price point is off for something should be the new Apex GT.

I'm just curious, what is your average income/salary a year in US and Canada? Here in Norway its aprox 300000nok/50000USD and a 2010 apex attack cost aprox 28500USD here..

I guess the 2011 would probebly be around 30000USD.

In 2006, my yamaha dealer asked aprox 24000USD for the rtx.
