Was gettning 8400rpm climbing, hoping the 18T from ulmer may get it a bit higher.
I did the swap - question is; is the chain tension same as stock (finger tight -1/4 turn)
can someone confirm that this will work well for the smaller gear too?\

yes you still run at finger tight then back off quarter turn. You should get a bit higher rpm, how much varies on setup.
