19/42 gearing help

I bought some 19/42 reverse gearing from Ulmers and you're supposed to be able to use the stock 68link chain with this gearing but i can't get to fit the chain is way too tight. Any one have this problem. if i can't get it to fit i'm thinking of sending it back and going 18/40 or trying a 70 link chain. any ideas?

half way down the page is the gearing chart. For 19/42 you need the stock 70 link chain.
