10-4, all they do is ignite the mixture below it. They will do no damage to your engine though. If you damage a plug, failure has already occured inside the engine which will make the plug failure a moot point. They are cheap easy HP. I have no idea why Yamaha dosen't use them. I suppose it would add around $12 to the cost of the machine. I want to know why Yamaha dosn't add a turbo. Nevermind the plugs. 50 HP would be better than 2 HP!

You can really detect 2-3 horspower by feeling the difference?? A clean car runs bettter than a dirty one also.

on the dyno you could see more HP with a plug change
I guess you failed to read the above statement or you just don't like getting free advice on a cheap mod from a very good tuner/racer!

Guys, you can feel the differance if you install the NGK CR10EK and run them for a while to get used to the sled. Stop on the trail and take them out and put the stock plugs back in. It will be slugish and slow to build power. You just lost 2 HP at peak and around 3 HP in mid. It wont take you long to stop and put the cr10ek's back in. As for feeling a gain from one day to the next. No, you can't feel that. Same day testing back to back, yes. In testing, on timing lights they are worth 3 hundreths of a second in 660 feet. That also equates to around 3 HP. 1 tenth is around 10 feet at the finish, so 3 hundreths is a easy, very nice gain. I've spent $1200 on carbs for two-strokes to pick up 3 hundreths before and been happier than a pig in you know what. Its the best gain per dollar in the industry and it still remains stock. 87gt and mike napp i get a kick out of you guys,its all in fun and some of us race or have raced years ago,you two have raced alot more than some,and mike i know you still do,this spark plug thing is halarious to me,some folks are exspecting to set the world on fire by using them,hense 2 hp will destroy your buddy lol,ya they do work i have used them,but like mike stated,why dont yamaha send us out a 50 hp shot of turbo ha ha ha lol lets get with the program guys,spark plugs dont do saaitt,but boost does!!!!!!!!!! :exc:
