2 up seat qustion

Hi im Joe, im new here. looking to buy a 2015 viper xtx or the stx dx. I have a question though, sometimes my wife likes to go with me, and I seen that there is a 2 up seat you can buy for these but im not sure if I can put it on the xtx or if I have to have the stx dx. in some of the pictures it shows that it mounts to the rear bumper and not the rack. so im wondering if it is possible to mount it on the xtx se or if I have to have the stx dx. any insite would be great thank

I believe for an XTX you will have to purchase and install deluxe bumper, but it is possible.

Sweet. How would I find the bumper and seat do you know? I tried looking at yamahas site and can't find it. But I can go to arctic cats site as it says its unavailable

The comparable model Cat would be the Crosstour. You'll probably need the Cat version as Yamaha has been slow with accessory release.

The bumper is in the 15 catalog but I did not see the seat.

Cool thanks a lot. I found the rear bumper I think in the catalog. So I just need to price everything out and make my decision

It might not fit on the xtx se without the trail seat and from the pics I have seen so far they come with the mountain seat which the 2 up seat won't fit on. I ordered the same sled and the seat but now it shows as it is not available for that model any more because they changed the seat. I am interested to see what happens when mine shows

What? You can't get the xtx with the trail seat anymore? I thought you only got the mountain seat with the le version of the xtx

That's what I thought too but people have been posting pics of the 2015 and I haven't seen one that has the trail seat
I ordered my sled based off the fact I could add the seat. Mine has not arrived yet so we will see what it shows up with

that seat doesnt look to bad, but it looks huge with that trunk on there. i guess we will have to see what the xtx's come with for seats until i make my desicion. im in the us so maybe they will be different here im not sure. i know on some dealers websites they show the pictures of them and none of them have to mountain seat here so i will just have to go look in person this week and find out

Yamaha just updated the pic on their canadaian website now showing the mountain seat.
