today i did some clutching changes to lower the rpms, it would go past 11 and then some if you let it
stock/8fa00 weights unloaded,0-s-0 spring white sec. spring
i changed it to 8FA-17605-10-00 weights both loaded with 17.2 steel for the inner/outer holes (without any holes in the rivets) and i kept the 0-S-0 spring.
The sled now pulls the skis off the ground out of the hole(lol rx1 mtn pullin skis), hits the 10,200/10.300rpm and seems to shift good. before i couldnt hit 80 mph and it was already hittin the 11k rpm , now i can see about 90-94ish at about 10.200 rpm, so i assume if i got the outer 17.2 rivet with the hole in it i might see a couple extra mph, but on a mtn machine? why,lol seems no matter what i did it wouldnt go past 10,500 and believe me i tried!,lol
As i am using the 0-s-0 stock spring and it seems to be doing well, i do have the y-s-y spring that was suposed to go with the change i may try it later on and see what the difference is. any1 know?
and as for climbing the bigger hills around here before the clutch change it climbed nice because of the light weights/with the weight change i dunno why but it seems to pull way better and the rpms even feel better while doing so. so again thanx to everyone who helped me out with info and tips!
