The First NY TY Ride has been moved. We have decided that since there is no snow up north, we would ride down south. Base will be the 3 Bear Inn, in Marathon, NY. We will ride starting 9:00 on Wednesday through Sunday. If you can join us the entire time great, if not join us for part of it. Monker is coming in Thursday afternoon, so we will swing back and pick him up. Hotel numbers are posted. Please call my cell phone at 781.820.7191 if you are planning on riding with us to confirm. We do not want to leave anyone behind. If anyone has the Honk's phone number, please give him a call. I have already left a message for RX136. If should be a great time like always.

This is really sweet guys!!!! The day before I leave you change the place? Thats wonderful. My sister lives twenty minutes from the Mont. and I just spoke with her. She has plowed the driveway three times in two days. 8 inches today over 16 inchs yesterday. sounds like the riding will be terrible. Thanks alot!! Could you have waited untill I pulled my rig into the parking lot? I am arriving, as we discussed months ago, at the mont on Tuesday at noon. see ya on the trails? Oh yea did I say Thanks Again? HONK

Honk, we have been trying to get ahold of you. You are the only one I do not have a number for. I have left you three PM's. There is no base on the hill. I have talked with several people who have ridden there over the past week. RX-1MAN has great snow and lives down by Binghamton. We decided to move the ride so we could ride. I hope you join us. I know the hill is supposed to be getting more snow this week. Let us know what you are going to do. Nothing personal. Check your PM's once in awhile, will ya. I hope to see you there. The Montague said we could cancel today if we were not coming and not get charged.

Honk, we wanted to move from hill until conditions are good enough to make it to Charlie's Inn for the bagger. Report today said tracks south of Tupper not good. I think Three Bear has chowda!!

Geez Honk, why don't you tell us how ya really feel. Seriously though, you should come to my neck of the woods. Won't be all the yahoos out there trying to run into ya on the corners. We've got almost as much snow and besides, you've never experienced the trails around here. Can ride the hill any old time.

I had a feeling this would happen, and I'm sorry to see it happen. I hate to see bad feelings develop over this. I thought everyone just wanted to ride and until 2 days ago it seemd like the best chance for the good riding would be in Marathon. Also the 3 Bear room rates are about 1/2 what the Mont was charging and they have breakfast.

Sorry honk! I would of met you up ther if I didn't cancel reservations. donot have your # or I would have called. You have too understand that this years conditions were different and the way things were going until a few days ago even from the weather man it didn't look good they had to make a decision based on what the weather men were calling at that time to even try to get a good ride in.That said you are a hell of a guy and I will miss you on this ride. I had wrenchmans # AND LOST IT IS HE COMING? I would hate to loose him too!!!!
Forgot to mention, I have carb sync equipment. Anyone who wants to get it done can come to my house after any of the rides and we'll take care of it.

I found Wrenchman's email address and sent him a note telling him about the ride change. Hopefully he will get it.

HRD what do you mean you would have joined him if you didn't cancel you reservations? This was your idea! I am sure HONK will join us, you wait and see. This was a group decision. All we want to do it ride.

Honk, There is also 1 other good reason to make that right heading south on 81 instead of going north. I heard a rumor that Yamaha was going to be in Marathon on Friday doing Demo rides. C'Mon down!!
If Yamaha is doing demo rides, it is a good reason to stay away. Who wants to hand around and do demo rides, when you can ride, ride ride. Tug hill is getting pounded right now. Condiyions should be good either on the hill or in marathon. Hopefully I will get my piece of crap Yamaha repaired and get to ride later this week.
