I had the same problem with my new '06 Apex gt years ago, it would pop a fuse every time we replaced it.. Ended up pulling all the panels and tracing the entire wiring harness for hours hoping to find a shorted wire and no success. We figured it could have been as a result of moisture buildup in the connectors and decided to apply some di-electric grease to all connectors. Problem never returned in the next three years I have ridden...

did the sled get a lot of snow in the front? Mine did this this last year in Maine. I went in the deep stuff and the same thing happened to me. I was blowing 20amp fuses non stop. I used di-electric grease on most if not all my connections. I couldn't find any bad wires either. Make sure you check the wires along the chasis on the left side real good. There have been known problems in this area. I put the sled in the garage for the night and let it dry. The next day I did'nt blow any fuses. Still concerned as to why it happened though.

This may not be your issue, but I was blowing ignition fuses as soon as I turned the key too. Traced all kinds of wires, did the dielectric grease on connectors and was still blowing fuses. By chance I found a split wire going to my kill switch next to my hand guard mounts (not sure if you have hand guards or not). Good luck to ya, chasing electrical gremlins are sometimes frustrating...

Carefully check the harness close to the secondary clutch. I believe this is the other area known for potential wear. If nothing found, obtain some good di-electric grease and go through each connector. Do not overpack but use it sparingly. Remember the goal is to eliminate moisture in contacts not to fill entire plug cavity.
