Hey guys hope someone can give me some direction.

After about 15 mins of riding, every now and then the motor starts to sound different, and it boggs down a bit, it feels like I lose power. Most of the time if I floor it for a bit, it clears up after a while.

Happened to me the last 2 times I went out,

Not really sure where to start looking for causes.

-Plugs are new 100km ago

-Checked oil level to make sure its not burping into the airbox. It was a bit high when warm, I don't know if that could cause this.

...

Thanks

Last winter I had a bog under acceleration and the bushing in the secondary clutch were worn and causing the secondary to bind up. When it happened I would blurp the throttle a couple times then it would be OK. Does this describe the bog your having?

Mine feels like more of an engine issue, the motor sounds boggy and at one point it started stumbling, backfiring, and then stalled when I stopped the sled. Fired it back up and pinned it across the lake, then it cleared up.

Was fine for a few short rides and then it seems to come back after burning about half a tank.

That's a possibility. Actually I was talking to people around town and the station I filled up at has a reputation for water in the gas. I'll get some dri gas and see if it helps.

The only thing with that is I don't understand why it would take half a tank of gas before it acted up.

Is your gas in Canada E15? You probably won't want to add more alcohol (dri gas) if not you should be fine just use only what you need for the amount of gas in the tank.

10% ethanol here. Should be fine to add a few ml of isopropyl. I'll give it a shot. See how it goes.

Definitely water In the gas. Added drigas in some premium ( no ethanol) and no problems.

Well I haven't encountered the same bogging. But something new has come up.

When I get on the throttle from stopped, sometimes it feels like tors kicks in for a split second, the sled falls on its face, and then recovers and everything is fine. Doesn't throw a code, no 84, nothing. It just misses once and then it's fine. Anyone know what's up?

Maybe dirty gas filter!?

I'll give that a try. I'm not too sure where It is on the sled though honestly. I'll look in the parts fiche.

Its part of the fuel pump inside gas tank. Its not a replaceable part. You might just need to run some sea foam thru the tank to clean the injectors. Follow instructions on sea foam ( more is not better ) for the amount to use per tank (gallons).

drain gas from tank using good filter. check after tank is drained and see what your filter caught if anything, you might have some crap in tank, if this is the case I'd suspect that your filter is plugging upon high demand or when the gas in tank is being sloshed about. If gas is good then I'd disable TORS and see if that is the issue.
