There is some confusion on the new 2014 solid state relay. It appears that the new relay part# 8GN-81590-00-00 is being listed as the fan relay only for the 2014 Nytro. I believe it would also replace load and fuel relays but can't confirm that. I will update the information in the Nytro FAQ if we can clear this up.

I bought the new relay based on the part # from Port Yamaha, but haven't got around to install it yet so can't confirm anything, yet.

Grizztracks - Your holding to much faith in where things should be located..lol - In the real world we've unfortunately found out that when they assemble these sleds there really has been no consistency as to which order the relays are mounted onto the relay holder. It has changed from year to year and sometimes even during the year from sled to sled. I assure you the new solid state fuel pump relay is part number 8GN-81950-00-00 regardless of what order they show it in a picture either in a service manual or microfiche. When locating the fuel pump relay on a sled always look for the relay with 3 red wires and 1 blue wire going to it as that is the fuel pump relay. I'd recommend in the sticky you remove the pictures showing which order they are located in as I think it may confuse people when there sled doesn't match the picture.

Ok. I'm having a fan issue myself. I checked the fuse... good, so next would be the relay. I see the relay that everyone is talking about and have a spare one, but there's no way that I can get my hand in there to replace it. What would be the easiest way, remove the side body pannel, the air box, or the steering linkage from the shaft?
