I have a 2009 Phazer base model and the rear shocks need to be replaced. What does everyone recommend? What is the shock length size to get to fit the sled? I've replaced the front shocks with Fox Floats this year but can't find rear shock sizes or shocks for the Phazer.

Can you use any 2009 Phazer rear shocks on the base model?
I see the models listed as PZ50Y (base model)
PZ50RTY (RTX model)
PZ50GTY (GT model)
PZ50MTY(MTX model)
The Yamaha part listing only show shocks for MTX, RTX and GT each having 2 shock choices. I'd like to get something I can rebuild. http://www.schmidtbrosmotorsports.com has the Fox Zero-Pro but again they on for every model but base

You will pay more for a Yamaha shock than a aftermarket. If used the RTX shock would be best choice since its adjustable and rebuildable.

I'm in the same boat right now Bodinefan. I ended up ordering some fox zero pros for my mountain lite (even though the model isn't listed). I'm hoping they will fit or I will be able to make them work. They are supposed to be shipped here soon, if you don't find anything in the meantime I will let you know if they fit.

stay away from the overpriced yammi shocks.

Call Schmidt bros and get it done. They will set you up and it will be WAY cheaper than anything from Yammi, and ride WAY better. Base, FX, GT doesnt matter Chris @ Schmidt will get you going.

Call Deycore and have them build you one...I have their product on both ATVs, UTVs and all my sleds. Good prices, great service, fine product...never an issue. Scott is an honest operator.
(651) 430-9642 All Deycore custom shocks have interchangeable parts with FOX and ACT...which is pretty cool.

13 to 13.25" for the front and 17.25-17.5" rear. I'm running a Fox Float in the center and Fox rear out of a Doo SC4 shorty skid. Renegade rear shocks are too long if searching Doo shocks
