Anyone know for sure if tommorow is the releaase of the info for the 2010 models. Thought I read that on here somewhere.

I have been told by a reliable source (can't say by who) that we should expect BNC (Bold New Colors). I take that as not many changes other then new colors and graphics.

I hope not I think I might be selling my 07 APEX this week and was hoping that they would come out with something besides new colors. I guess I will be riding the DOO next year until they make a change.

Here that,I am with you on the Doo!!

I just saw what Yamaha has to offer in 2010 and although it was expected, I am still disappointed. Yamaha is going to loose some more market share over this. I do think when they finally do replace the Apex, it will be well worth the wait. If Yamaha is going to make big improvements over the Apex I would assume it will take a lot of R&D to do it right. Yamaha is not a Manufacturer that will rush their products to market.

I like the Vector LTX. My Attak 150 has too much power for me. I wish they had it back in 07.

They've improved alot of stuff in the LTX line so it is a hell of a sled now. Grips,Rails,Wheels,Engine, etc.

I'd like to sell my Attak and get one.

Mark, by the time they make the change that many people were waitingh for, the other OEM's will have past their new release and they will be that much farther behind.

2010

I must admit, I was hoping for more. Had my finger ready to pull the trigger on a new re-designed Apex. I still want to update my 2006 but now not sure to what, thinking of going to a LTX, have short track now.

What's that going to give you? A better ride, but less handling. I don't thinkl it's worth the money.

I like the RS Vector GT with fuel injection. I would have bought this sled in '06 if it was available instead of the Apex GT. Should be a great touring sled. They must have finally used up the carbs from the old 120 hp engine. ;)!
Having said that, I'm not sure I would sell the Apex to get a new Vector. I was looking for an FX Nytro LTX as a possible replacement. I think the XTX's 144 is too much for tight trails, but might have tried a 136 if it was offered.

Andy, my hope is that like the Apex when it first come out, the Apex replacement will have new designs i.e. redesigned engine, frame, suspension, weight reduction that the other manufacturers will be chasing. With the heavy 4 stroke it’s going to take a lot of re-engineering to loose the weight that we are looking for. I can’t for the life of me think of a valid reason why they would be holding off knowing full well that their market share will be suffering unless they are taking all the feedback that they received from us in that survey we filled out last winter seriously. If you think about it, if Yamaha seriously looked at that survey they would need more they 12 months to redesign an entire sled to meet our demands. I think they are redesigning the entire sled from top to bottom to make their efforts worth while and meet our demands. Skidoo had the first rev chassis from 2003 until 2007; five years; until they replaced it for 08. They even stuck their new 4 stroke into an old chassis design. Anyways, that’s just my opinion and my hopes.
